Ford F-150 Trucks on the Lot in South County St. Louis
This page is built for St. Louis truck shoppers who want to see real F-150s, not brochure photos. The feed above shows what is sitting on our lot at 7466 S Lindbergh Blvd and what is on the way, so you can compare cab styles, bed lengths, engines and packages in one place. Below we break down the trims, how pricing works, and how your trade and future service fit in. Want the deeper spec rundown first? Our F-150 research page covers it.
Ford F-150 Trims Compared
| Trim | What stands out |
|---|---|
| XL | Work truck foundation, simple to upfit, wide range of cab and bed combinations |
| STX | Sport appearance on an XL base, upgraded wheels, a value pick for daily driving |
| XLT | The everyday workhorse trim, more comfort and tech, BlueCruise available on select models |
| Lariat | Leather trimmed seating, upscale cabin, BlueCruise available |
| King Ranch | Western themed leather and trim, generous standard equipment, BlueCruise available |
| Platinum | Premium materials and features; Platinum Plus adds the higher output Pro Power Onboard system |
| Tremor | Off road tuned 4x4 setup with all terrain tires, BlueCruise available |
| Raptor | High output EcoBoost with long travel desert suspension; Raptor R steps up to a supercharged V8 |
Cab style, bed length, engine and package groups change what each trim really looks like, so two XLTs on our lot can be very different trucks. If you are cross shopping, see how the F-150 lines up against Silverado, Ram and Tundra before you come in.
Ford F-150 Pricing, Specials and Payments in St. Louis
F-150 MSRP moves a lot by trim, cab, bed, engine and packages, so the live prices in the inventory above are the place to start. From there, check our current Ford specials and ask whether Ford X Plan, A/Z Plan, military or first responder pricing applies to you. We work with Ford Credit and other lenders on both financing and leasing.
Pulling a big fifth wheel camper or heavy equipment trailer most weekends? Take a look at the Ford Super Duty lineup too, since it is built for heavier hauling than a half ton truck.

Ford F-150 Questions From St. Louis Truck Shoppers
What F-150 trims can I choose from?
The current F-150 lineup runs XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor and Raptor, with Raptor R at the very end. XL and STX lean toward work and value, XLT is the everyday middle, and Lariat through Platinum add leather and more tech. Tremor and Raptor are built for off road use. Packages and cab choices matter as much as trim, so ask us to compare window stickers on any two trucks.
Which F-150 engine is right for pulling a trailer?
Ford offers the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, 3.5L EcoBoost V6, 5.0L V8 and the 3.5L PowerBoost full hybrid, plus high output engines on Raptor models. For regular towing, most St. Louis buyers end up looking at the 3.5L EcoBoost, the V8 or PowerBoost. The right answer depends on what you pull, how often, and how far, so bring your trailer weight and we will match a truck to it.
How do I find the real towing capacity of a specific F-150?
Towing on an F-150 depends on the engine, cab, bed length, axle ratio, 4x2 or 4x4 and whether the truck has the right tow package. Two trucks that look alike can have different ratings. Check the payload and tire label in the driver door jamb, Ford's towing guide, and the window sticker. Our sales team can pull the exact rating for any VIN in stock before you commit.
Is the F-150 PowerBoost hybrid worth considering?
PowerBoost pairs a 3.5L V6 with an electric motor, so you get strong towing manners with better efficiency around town. It also comes with Pro Power Onboard, which turns the bed into a generator for tools, campsites or running home essentials during an outage. If your week is a mix of I-55 commuting and weekend hauling, it is worth a test drive next to a gas truck.
Can I still buy a Ford F-150 Lightning?
Ford has ended production of the all electric F-150 Lightning and announced that the next Lightning will be an extended range electric truck that uses a gas generator to recharge the battery. Ford has not shared a launch date for that version. Any remaining Lightning units are limited, so call our sales team to ask what is available. If you want electrified capability now, the PowerBoost hybrid is on the lot.
Which F-150 models have BlueCruise hands free driving?
Ford lists BlueCruise as available on Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor and select XLT models. It allows hands free driving on prequalified sections of divided highway while the system watches that your eyes stay on the road. New trucks include a trial or a longer plan depending on trim. We can show you how it works on a drive out toward I-44 or I-270.
Does the F-150 help you back up and hook up a trailer?
Yes, on equipped trucks. Pro Trailer Backup Assist lets you steer the trailer with a knob on the dash while the truck handles the steering wheel. Pro Trailer Hitch Assist steers, brakes and accelerates to line the truck up with a conventional trailer for hitching. Availability depends on trim and packages, so check the window sticker or ask us to filter trucks that have them.
Should I lease or finance a new F-150?
Financing makes sense if you plan to keep the truck for years, tow heavy, or add accessories and modifications. Leasing can lower the monthly payment and suits drivers who like a new truck every few years and stay inside the mileage limit. We work with Ford Credit and other lenders, and our payment calculators let you compare both before you come into the store.
How does trading in my truck work at Dave Sinclair Ford?
Start with our online trade value tool or the text me my trade value tool to get a quick number. When you visit, we look at the truck in person, confirm condition and miles, and apply the value toward your new F-150. If you still owe on it, we handle the payoff with your lender. You can trade in any make, not just a Ford.
Can I custom order an F-150 and how long does it take?
Yes. If nothing on the lot has your exact color, cab, bed and package mix, we can place a factory order for you. Timing depends on Ford production schedules and order bank windows, so it varies by trim and time of year. We will tell you what to expect when you order and keep you posted as the truck moves from build to delivery.
Do you honor Ford X Plan, military or first responder pricing on an F-150?
We offer Ford X Plan and A/Z Plan pricing for eligible buyers, and the store runs military and first responder appreciation programs. Eligibility rules come from Ford and from each program, and some offers can stack with current specials while others cannot. Bring your PIN or proof of service and we will show you exactly how it applies to the truck you pick.
What does Warranty Forever cover on a new F-150?
On qualifying new F-150s, the coverage is included at no cost and lasts as long as you own the truck. It takes in the engine, transmission, 4x4 transfer case and drive axles, which is where a truck that tows every weekend works hardest. You keep it by following the maintenance schedule at a licensed shop and keeping your records. It does not transfer if you sell the truck.
Should I get an F-150 or a Super Duty for towing a boat to Lake of the Ozarks?
For most bass boats, pontoons and smaller cruisers, a properly equipped F-150 handles the trip down Highway 5 fine. If your boat and trailer are close to the limit of a half ton rating, or you also pull a big fifth wheel, a Super Duty gives you more margin and heavier hardware. Bring the boat and trailer weight and we will show you both trucks side by side.
How does the F-150 compare to the Silverado 1500, Ram 1500 and Tundra?
All four are full size half ton pickups, and each takes a different approach to engines, interiors and tech. The F-150 stands out for its aluminum alloy body, the PowerBoost hybrid with Pro Power Onboard, and trailer tech like Pro Trailer Backup Assist. The fairest way to decide is to drive them back to back. We are happy to set up an F-150 test drive whenever you are ready.
Can I get my F-150 serviced without driving to South County?
Often, yes. Our Mobile Service sends Ford technicians to your home or job site for select maintenance and repairs. For bigger jobs, Ford Pickup and Delivery picks the truck up and brings it back when the work is done. Everything else happens at our service center on S Lindbergh Blvd, where we also have a certified collision body shop.
