Gold Certified is for newer Ford vehicles with lower miles, EV Certified is for Ford electric vehicles, and Blue Certified extends certification to qualifying vehicles of any make. Certified units pass a multipoint inspection and include a CARFAX report, roadside assistance and Ford backed limited warranty coverage. Ford sets the age, mileage and coverage terms for each level.

Yes. Ask for the vehicle history report on any used vehicle you are considering, and certified Ford Blue Advantage units include a CARFAX report. The report shows things like reported accidents, number of owners, title issues and service records when they were reported. Ask your salesperson to send it before you visit so you can review it at home and come in with your questions.

Our technicians inspect used vehicles in our own service department before they are listed. Ford Blue Advantage certified units go through Ford’s detailed multipoint inspection, which covers mechanical, electrical, safety and cosmetic items. Anything that does not meet the standard is repaired or the vehicle does not get certified. You are welcome to ask what was found and fixed on any vehicle you are considering.

It can. Warranty Forever is included on qualifying used vehicles sold by Dave Sinclair Ford, not every unit, so ask which vehicles in the feed qualify. On qualifying vehicles it covers major powertrain parts for as long as you own the vehicle with no deductible, as long as you follow the required maintenance at a licensed shop and keep your records.

When you come in, the vehicle is ready and the paperwork is mostly prepared. Buyers from Illinois and other states should ask how registration and taxes are handled for their home state.

Before you buy one to pull a camper or a boat to Lake of the Ozarks, check its actual tow rating, which depends on engine, axle ratio, cab, bed and hitch. We can look up the rating for a specific truck by VIN and review its maintenance history.
